Flying with gravity
2023-10-25 11:09
Flat-earthers usually claim that gravity does not exist. It is claimed to be incompatible with how things fly. If gravity makes things fall down everything is supposed to always fall down.

Flat-earthers use to claim the world looks like this:
What you can in fact see in the sky
2023-10-17 11:09
Flat-earthers show great ignorance about the movements of celestial bodies. It is bad enough to believe that perspective could explain the sun rising and setting.
How far can you see?
2023-10-11 10:36
Flat-earthers like to argue that one can see things further away than one would on a round Earth. The problem is usually faulty calculations of what one would be able to see.
Perspective in real life
2023-10-10 10:41

This is a common excuse from people believing in all-encompassing conspiracies. That the most common explanation for something would come from the conspirators.
The myth of the universal lie
2023-10-02 13:07
I intend to use flat-earthers to explain my view of science. People in general of cause know the Earth is round like a ball. But how the round Earth works is often the subject of misconceptions.
On scientists and pseudoscientists
2023-09-29 10:14
There are people which wrongfully believe themselves to be scientists. They neither have formal qualifications nor are seen as equals by people with such. One does not need to have formal qualifications to contribute to science.
The myth of inborn genius
2023-09-28 11:09
I perceive genius as exceptional ability in one’s profession. Francis Galton claimed this to be hereditary. In addition to the time period’s primitive knowledge of heritability there is a great weakness in his claim.
